Two very difficult years for the former Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury seem to have come to an end with the lifting of his ban recently. Good news at a good time, which has seen the birth of his fourth child and seeing the rejuvenation of long time friend and fellow World champion Billy Joe Saunders, must have done a lot to lift his spirits.
He was indeed ringside and worked on the commentary for his friend Saunders who romped to an impressive win in his biggest test to date over an outclassed David Lemieux in Canada, and spoke with experience and knowledge of the sport he so obviously loves.

Tyson appeared to have been ready and prepared for his reprieve, as he has been very publicly sharing time in the gym of Manchester legend Ricky Hatton, shedding weight and getting into fighting shape, as he awaits the final seal of approval or mandatory words of caution from the British Boxing Board of Control.
His return to action will be welcomed after the epic heavyweight title win over Wladimir Klitschko in Dortmund, Germany two years ago, as was his equally epic fall from grace into despair and disgrace by the British public in time honoured fashion.
There is now a new king on the heavyweight crown, the Golden boy of 2012 Olympic fame the massively popular Anthony Joshua who has enthralled the British public with his rise to glory and his own demolition of Klitschko which was enjoyed by millions.
His first defence, however, was not so inspiring, a 10th round controversial stoppage of 10 day substitute Carlos Takam was met with a fair level of criticism by public and press alike along with his promoters Eddie Hearn’s big money demands, for Joshua and alleged lowball offers to other World champions Deontay Wilder and Joseph Parker for unification contests are doing nothing to enhance his considerable reputation.
So the timing is perfect for a Fury return, British and world heavyweight boxing is in excellent shape with many undefeated warriors chomping at the bit to be recognised as the number one fighter on the planet, the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
I cant remember an era when the four biggest names in heavyweight boxing were all undefeated and good as in Joshua, Wilder, Fury, and Parker. Hopefully, we are in for a terrific year to sort out who is best of the big men.
Fury has his work to do and it will still be in the gaze of the social media world he invites, and he needs to pick his team well as its a steep mountain to climb and he knows the hazards all too well.
I expect him to have learnt a lot over the last few years so maybe we have a Fury who this time will not just reach the summit but stay there long enough to enjoy the view.
