Eddie Hearn was in jovial form this week ahead of Dmitri Bivol vs Gilberto Ramirez in Abu Dhabi – even hilariously singing along to some Whitney Houston!
In an interview with Boxing Social, Hearn could not help himself but sing along to Houston’s hit “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay,” seeming more concerned about showing off his vocal chords than discussing boxing.
Hearn clearly fancies himself as a singer – this isn’t the first time fans have been entertained by his vocals as opposed to his famous banter.
Last month, his parody of “Ain’t No Sunshine When She’s Gone” by Bill Withers (Ain’t No Sunshine When Tank’s Gone) sent the internet into overdrive – although probably didn’t do much to earn the Matchroom boss a slot on Leonard Ellerbe’s Christmas card list.
The singing marked a notable change in the mood of Hearn compared to other recent interviews, where he’s cut a forlorn figure over incessant questions about the latest developments in the Conor Benn saga.
