2017 has been a great year for boxing and it just keeps getting better.
For the first time ever two Olympic gold medallists will meet inside the ring on December 9th.
The anticipated super featherweight bout that is Vasyl Lomachenko versus Guillermo Rigondeaux will happen at Madison Square Garden in New York.
On paper it will be a challenge for the Cuban since he is stepping up two weight classes to fight ‘Hi-Tech’ but the man himself is not concerned.
I don't want to hear anything about weight advantage. I asked for this fight and I got it! It is on. #Dec9#RigoLoma#NotAfraid π¨πΊπ₯ πΊπ¦

Rigondeaux has made a name for himself at Bantamweight and so far holds an undefeated record of 17 wins with no losses.
Lomachenko will put his WBO World super featherweight title on the line against the Cuban challenger. The Ukrainian boxing machine has lost only once in nine fights and has looked pretty much invincible especially in his last few bouts.
