The Jake Paul and Carl Froch beef continues, with the British legend sending the American upstart a message ahead of his fight with Tommy Fury.
Paul caught wind of Froch’s poor opinion on him as a boxer recently, and offered him a two-fight deal – one with his last opponent, Anderson Silva, and then one with him.
Froch has declined the idea of a fight with MMA legend, Silva, but did send a message to Paul via TalkSPORT’s Spencer Oliver.
“Listen to me, Jake Paul, you clown. The worst thing you could’ve possibly ever done in your fake boxing career is to call out The Cobra. How can you call me out?
Listen, I don’t think you’ve got the ****s to jump in the ring with me anyway, but if somehow you beat Tommy and me and you fight, just understand one thing – you’re getting knocked the f**k out. This fight can end no other way than you getting knocked unconscious. I guarantee that.”
Paul responded to the fighting talk by reiterating his previous offer before claiming that nobody in America knew who Froch was.
“He sounds desperate for money. It’s like a money play. He’s already envisioning that we’re fighting in his head and trying to get the bag. He probably, like most boxers, spent his money improperly.”
“Carl, fight Anderson Silva. If you can get through Anderson Silva, which I bet you can’t, me and you will fight, I guarantee it … Prove yourself, because you’re older, let’s see if you can actually still bang. I’m gonna get through Tommy, you get through Anderson, and that’ll be a big fight.
But, as far as I’m concerned, not a single person in the United States knows your name, so fighting Anderson Silva would help you build up that reputation. That’s my offer.”

Given that Froch has outside the ring on punditry rather than inside fighting since 2014, as well as the fact that Paul has certain plans for this year already, it’s an unlikely one to actually be made – but it’s certainly fun whilst it lasts.
