Jake Paul has said what he wants next after losing out to Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia last weekend.
After months of bad blood and social media back and forth, Fury took the victory on the night, edging out Paul for a split decision win at the Diriyah Arena.
Speaking on his podcast BS W/ Jake Paul, ‘The Problem Child’ stated that his eyes are locked in on a rematch with Fury.
“The business is great. There’s still so many names out there for me to fight. I want to do the rematch with Tommy, but I think all of those fights are still there, and are still massive. But I think the rematch, I’ve got to get that back.”
Fury stated in numerous post fight interviews that he would have no objections to Paul activating the contractual rematch clause, so fans may be treated to a second meeting this summer.
The Brit survived a point deduction and late knockdown to defeat Paul, who was also docked a point by referee Hector Afu for hitting around the back of the head.
Although respect was shown in the immediate aftermath of the contest, the trash talking already seems to have begun again, with John Fury posting a video today calling for Paul to pay out on the ‘double or nothing’ bet that was agreed at the press conference.
The pair shook hands on the wager, although no contract was ever signed and it is unlikely ‘TNT’ will be receiving extra money from the American any time soon.
Outside of the rematch, both Paul and Fury have been linked to a fight with UK influencer KSI, who claimed on social media he would beat the pair of them.
