Jake Paul Launches New Boxing Show To Showcase Next Generation

YouTuber-turned-boxer, Jake Paul has had a meteoric rise in the sport, both inside and outside the ring.

The American has now made a new step in his promotional career, announcing a partnership with DAZN to broadcast regular cards highlighting up and coming prospects.

Paul launched ‘Most Valuable Promotions’, his promotional outfit, in 2021 and has already helped make the biggest fight in the history of women’s boxing, when he worked with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing to stage Katie Taylor’s historic clash with Amanda Serrano.

Now, Paul has agreed a deal with DAZN for a regular series, labelled ‘Most Valuable Prospects’, which will see regular Friday night cards filled with the ‘next generation of boxing superstars’.

Following the announcement, Paul proudly took to social media and revealed the first show of his new series.

“We have finally launched ‘Most Valuable Prospects’, I’m super excited. This is to help the next generation of superstars in boxing, to put them on a global stage. We have partnered with DAZN, we are going to be doing a lot more events, fighters are always asking me, ‘Jake, can I fight on your card? I want to get that exposure’, and I can’t fit everyone onto my cards.”

“This now gives me the opportunity to help the next generation of boxing superstars, to have more events, spot young emerging talent and potentially sign them to Most Valuable Promotions or just give them the platform to become superstars. I’ve been wanting to do this for so long, the first show is May 26th, headlined by the prospect of the year, Ashton Sylve.”

Whilst Paul has faced his fair share of criticism from the boxing community in the past, whether you’re a fan or not, ‘The Problem Child’ is making waves in the sport.
