Floyd Mayweather and his entourage pulled up on an unsuspecting and solo Jake Paul in Miami, causing the latter to make a run for it.
Paul is recently coming off his first loss as a professional fighter, whilst Mayweather is back in America following his latest exhibition.
The 50-0 fighter was caught on camera approaching Paul with plenty of associates. Mayweather can be heard saying ‘I asked you nicely’ before turning his attention to a security guard, asking ‘who you supposed to be?’
The man filming then asks Jake Paul ‘what happened? You not tough any more since your loss?’ Paul then dashes away.
He later uploaded a video to Instagram explaining the situation and why he was keen to duck out of it, claiming it was 50 against one.
“So I’m leaving the Miami Heat game and Floyd Mayweather and 50 dudes pull up out of nowhere, out of like some side alley, waiting for me outside the stadium, and they’re like, ‘So what’s up? what’s all that talk now?'”
“I’m like first of all, what did I say to you Floyd? I just took your hat and you’re still mad about it? Come on, bro. And then 50 dudes literally start surrounding me to jump me, and I’m out that bitch, ok?”
“You wanna run it one on one, no problem. But I’m not dumb. Okay? I’m tough, I don’t need to prove my toughness., but I’m not f**king dumb. I’m not gonna sit there and try to fight 50 dudes.”

Paul then clarified a fight offer to Mayweather on Twitter.
Floyd if you want to fight 1 on 1 we can do that but don’t try to hop out of 3 cars 25 dudes deep tryna to jump me while I’m tryna enjoy my Wednesday night

It’s not the first altercation Paul and Mayweather have had. The young boxing upstart stole the half-of-famer’s hat at a press conference back in 2021 before his fight with Jake’s brother, Logan.
However, TMZ – who posted the original footage – report that Mayweather and his team have taken issue with more recent comments from Paul.
A fight between the two has been rumoured in the past and now officially suggested by Paul, although it’s hard to see Mayweather opting for an exhibition this time.
