Most Valuable Promotions, founded by influencer-turned-boxer Jake Paul, revealed that Floyd Mayweather refused to come out for his exhibition fight with Deji Olatunji whilst Paul was ringside.
There has been history between Mayweather and the controversial YouTuber, with Paul stealing Floyd’s hat in the build-up to his fight with Logan Paul, brother of Jake.
Couple this with the abuse that Paul was hurling towards rival Tommy Fury, who was fighting on the Saturday night’s undercard and it makes the claims of Jake Paul’s team all the more plausible.
On their Twitter, MVP revealed that a member of Mayweather’s team approached Paul and told him to leave the venue or else there would be no fight.
“Mayweather employee Jona Rechnitz approached Jake Paul ringside & said Floyd would not fight unless Jake left the arena.
Jake left the arena so the fans didn’t have to wait any longer. In retrospect maybe Jake should have stayed & saved the fans from that sham of a boxing match.”

Although not featuring on the card, Jake Paul managed to steal the headlines with his ringside antics, aggravating Tommy Fury and his dad John to the point where the 58-year-old ripped his shirt off and offered to bare knuckle fight ‘The Problem Child’.
