Jake Paul and Tommy Fury will square off at their first face-to-face press conference this week after finally agreeing to enter the ring and battle it out in Madison Square Garden on August 6.
The co-main event sees Amanda Serrano, who’s promoted by Paul, defending her WBC, WBO and IBO Featherweight titles against Brenda Carabajal. Serrano will be present at the press conference as she looks to bounce back after a split decision loss to Katie Taylor in April.
Paul and Fury were originally due to fight in December last year, but Fury pulled out with “a severe chest infection and a broken rib”. Paul went on to rematch Tyron Woodley, knocking out the former UFC champ in the sixth round.
There has been no shortage of back and forth on social media between Paul and Fury’s teams, with heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and Paul seemingly agreeing to a $1m bet on the outcome:
👀 Wait for it…
