Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller’s is coming off a ninth-round stoppage of the seasoned contender, Mariusz Wach. Miller featured on the undercard of the Daniel Jacobs – Luis Arias middleweight showdown, the card was Eddie Hearn’s first stateside card.
In an exclusive with Sky Sports, the ‘Big Baby’ has since aimed a warning at Anthony Joshua, declaring that “muscles don’t save your chin”.
These comments came after promoter Eddie Hearn stated last week, Miller could be “one or two fights” away from challenging Britain’s unified IBF, IBO and WBA (Super) world champion.
Miller, however, believes that fight could be even closer; Miller has suggested that in fact, a fight with ‘AJ’ could be up next.

I think either the next fight or one fight [away] for sure,” Miller said. When asked about the Joshua fight, Miller added “Yeah most definitely he’s got to get through me first, which he won’t. I’m like a big roadblock.”
“He’s full of cr*p, because he’s said already he doesn’t want to go to America right now to fight. He’s said he doesn’t want to go to Vegas and fight anytime soon.
Miller called for Joshua to clarify where he stands in regards to his next fight, “He’s got to get his story straight. One minute he wants to fight Deontay, then he wants to come to America. I don’t know?”
“He’s really hyped up. Muscles don’t save your chin. We all know his chin is definitely glass and it’s a matter of time before a fighter will expose him, and I hope I’m the one to do it,” Miller emphatically stated.
On a final note, Miller also expressed disappointment that he wasn’t able to knock Wach out “I wasn’t really pleased with my performance, even though it was still a win. I’m about getting the job done,” Miller concluded.
