Joe Joyce and Joseph Parker have weighed in ahead of their hotly anticipated heavyweight clash tomorrow night – and both men have come in at their heaviest weight to date.
Joyce hit the scales at a mammoth 271 and ¼ lbs – nearly 19 and a half stone. Parker also came in at the highest weight of his professional career so far, although was still over a stone lighter than Joyce at just over 255lbs.
Whilst there was no pushing and shoving, the two exchanged words on the stage and both reverberated an intense aura, with the WBO interim title held between them.
If the numbers on the scale are anything to go by, we can expect both men to go into the contest with the plan of ending it prematurely.
Time for the heavyweights to throw down 😤 #JoyceParker

International superstar Amando Serrano looked in terrific shape as she returned to what she feels is her optimum weight of 126lbs, with opponent Sarah Mafhoud also making the championship weight well, giving the final go ahead for their three belt unification fight tomorrow.
Ekow Essuman and Samuel Antwi both looked strong on the scales as they made the 147lb limit, with Essuman’s British and Commonwealth titles on the line in a fight that many pundits feel could steal the show at the Manchester Arena.
The final box is now ticked and one of the highlights of the domestic autumn schedule is all systems go for tomorrow night. With pundits and fans split down the middle on the main event, just about the only thing agreed upon is that the contest has the potential to be one of the fights of the year.
