John Fury squared up to Jake Paul sparring partner, Anthony Taylor, at the London press conference for Floyd Mayweather’s upcoming exhibition, telling him he would ‘knock him the f**k out.’
Tommy Fury – half-brother of world champ Tyson and son of John – will fight on the upcoming Global Titans card in Dubai on November 13. He faces former US Marine and 5-2 fighter, Paul Bamba. Elsewhere on the undercard is former Fury opponent, Anthony Taylor. Taylor, an MMA fighter, has the honour of giving Love Island’s Jack Fincham his professional debut. Still with us?
Things boiled over during the press conference not between two men that were due to fight on the night, but John Fury and Taylor. The elder Fury was accompanying his son on stage, despite nobody else’s father being by their side, and took issue with spotlight-seeking Taylor interrupting people.

All the while, Floyd Mayweather, arguably one of the best boxers to ever do it, sat in the wings as the two men swore and howled. Given the nature of these crossover events, or whatever you might call them, it wouldn’t exactly be shocking to see John Fury’s face up beside Anthony Taylor’s on a fight poster over the next few months.
The event is the latest in ‘Money’ Mayweather’s string of exhibition fights, and takes place in Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena. It will be available to fans in the UK and US via DAZN PPV for £16.99, or $14.99 in the States. Those signing up for the first time will also be required to pay their monthly fee of £7.99, or $19.99 respectively.
