John Fury played his part in chaos at the media workout for a fight between his son, Tommy, and Youtuber-turned-boxer, KSI.
The head of the Fury clan – which also includes heavyweight champion of the world, Tyson – stuck to his reputation of a troublemaker by attempting to square up to Logan and Jake Paul’s father, Greg.
Logan Paul fights as part of the double main event in his bout against Dillon Danis. Jake and Tommy have a well known rivalry that was settled in the ring and ended with the Brit winning a split decision.
After his son’s open workout, Fury chaperoned him outside of the ring and whilst he was speaking to the media. At one stage, he became frustrated by something Paul said.
Fury appeared to kick it up a gear when the American asked him to ‘lick his balls.’
That incident was preceded by the 59-year-old throwing a bottle at KSI for taunting his son during interviews.
The two outbursts are sure to be a part of a series, with the final press conference, weigh-in and fight night all still to come.
John Fury will likely be front and centre for periods of time during all of them, adding to his roster of bizarre highlights that already includes squaring up to Jake Paul topless and kicking a table off the stage at this event’s initial press conference.
The event he’s hyping is expected to be an incredible success both at the gate and on pay-per-view. It will be broadcast live from Manchester on DAZN PPV worldwide.
