John Fury Asked Who Gives Tyson The Harder Fight Between Anthony Joshua And Usyk

Father of the ‘The Gypsy King’, John Fury, has had his say regarding who would give Tyson the harder fight between fellow heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk, and long-term British rival, Anthony Joshua.

Despite consistent links to clashes with both Usyk and ‘AJ’, Fury is yet to step into the ring with either man. However, fans will be hoping that the WBC champion fights at least one of the two next year, providing Fury has overcomes Francis Ngannou in his upcoming crossover bout.

In an interview on the Free Bets YouTube channel, John Fury disregarded any chance of Usyk or Joshua causing his son any problems in the ring, claiming that the only man worthy of being labelled as Tyson Fury’s dance partner is Deontay Wilder, and he’s ‘already beaten him three times’.

“What together on the same night? No contest, the two [together] couldn’t even put up a fight.

From what I’ve seen, Tyson would play with them, they are just not good enough. There is levels to this game, I’ve said it before, they’re down here and Tyson’s up here. He’ll prove it, I’m not just saying it because I’m his father or because he’s the world champion, I’m saying it as it stacks up, he’s just too good for them.”

“Unless I see somebody out there that is extraordinary, I’ll be the first to let you know, I’ll say ‘hang on, there is his nemesis, there is his dance partner’.”

Before Fury can think about a fight with either man, he must first defeat Ngannou, who he takes on in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 28th.
