Anthony Joshua is fighting another mandatory in Carlos Takam on October 28th next week, but the public is still hopeful of a super fight between ‘AJ’ and Tyson Fury.
The WBA, IBF, and IBO recently stated that he is ready to fight Fury in 2018.
“Me and him will get down and dirty real soon, it’s just fighting talk. I managed to contact him, he managed to contact me and everything you probably see on social is the same thing that happens behind the scenes,” said Joshua in an interview with Talk Sport.
Joshua also talked about how to beat a fighter like Fury.
I think the way to beat Tyson Fury is like a Mike Tyson style. But you need a lot of energy and you need to be fit and strong. Cause if not, he’s going to play with you,” explained ‘AJ’.
It’s no surprise that Fury has read Joshua’s comments and he has fired back on Twitter.
If @anthonyfjoshua adopts the @MikeTyson style vs me I'll adopt the @MuhammadAli style that's coming back after years out& beating the bully

“I’ll adopt the Muhammad Ali style that’s coming back after years out & beating the bully,” wrote Fury.
During the summer, Joshua and Fury lashed out verbal jabs at each other almost on a daily basis. Things quieted down a bit during August and September but it looks like the beef is heating up again, especially since Fury announced that he would fight three times in 2018.
The all British heavyweight super showdown is far from being officially done but at this point, it seems inevitable that the two giants of heavyweight boxing will eventually settle things in the ring if Fury manages to make a successful comeback to professional boxing.
