Kell Brook caught up with iFL.tv in Canada, while ‘The Special One’ came to show his support to fellow countryman and Ingle stable-mate, Billy Joe Saunders ahead of his showdown with the hard punching David Lemieux.
Kell Brook and his team recently declared his foray into the super welterweight division. Brook will begin his campaign at the weight of 154 lbs against Sergey Rabchenko (29-2) in front of a hometown crowd in Sheffield on March 3rd, next year.

But Brook, however once again touched on his lingering desire to settle the score with his longtime rival, Amir Khan.
When pressed to survey the landscape in the welterweight and super welterweight divisions. Brook shared his belief that Khan is still the biggest potential match up for the Sheffield fighter.
“I still think its the biggest fight out there for me, name-wise definitely;” Brook explained.
“I think it has to happen. It is still relevant and everybody keeps asking about it.”

“Its a fight that I’d be more up for than anything, because it has been talked about for years and I just want to get in and beat him up!”
“He has never given me any respect, he is always slagging me down. You know, at least I give him credit; he is a good fighter. He has got speed, it is good.
“He’s never really given me any respect. It is not good and people around me know that I will knock him clean out!”
Analysing the potential reasons for Amir Khan’s persistent refusal to share the ring with him, Kell shared he doesn’t believe Khan is scared of him but because it would be such a big domestic clash.
Kell believes Khan fears the consequences of defeat, something Brook also is driven on by.
“Its a fear of, after how much slagging he has given me… For me to smash him in, he wouldn’t be able to walk the streets.”
“I am petrified of losing to him. I don’t know if I’d be able to walk the streets of England anymore,” Brook concluded.
