Former IBF welterweight champion, Kell Brook, has revealed how a scuffle started with Conor Benn at the recent Katie Taylor-Chantelle Cameron fight.
Footage went viral as Brook and Benn were seen pushing and shoving one another at ringside.

The video got the public talking as to whether Brook could be in line to face Benn, with the 25-year-old set to make a comeback after testing positive for clomiphene ahead of a fight with Chris Eubank Jr last year. However, as of yet, ‘The Special One’ remains retired, although he has hinted at a return to the ring.
In an exclusive interview with Boxing Social, Brook explained the scrap started after ‘The Destroyer’ bumped into him when giving a live interview.
“People kept saying to me ‘was it staged or not?’, it definitely wasn’t staged, I was having an interview and he’s bumping into me. He’s got a chip on his shoulder you know, so it went off, he got the reaction that he wanted. He keeps calling me an old man and saying that he will do this and that to me and that is fight talk where I come from.”
“This young pup coming through and thinking that he can take me? He has not been in with anyone like me. It’s a different kettle of fish to the level of opposition that he has been facing.”
“I think that, after the shoving and the pushing went on, the fans do want to see that fight now. They do want to see me and Conor in that ring. Once we find out what his situation is, in the next week or so, maybe we can sit down with his team and make it happen.”
The current frontrunner for Benn’s return is Eubank Jr, with promoter Eddie Hearn making no secret of the fact that’s the fight they want.
