There is no love lost between Dillian Whyte and Lucas Browne as the two collided verbally in their first press conference on Thursday.
What started out as a normal media event quickly developed into an outspoken war of words as Whyte accused Browne of using performance enhancing drugs and racism.

“This was the first time that I saw him so I had a lot of things to say to him and I finally got the chance. I opened the door the ripped on him,” told Whyte to Boxing Social.
‘Big Daddy’ Browne was definitely not fond of Whyte’s comments and hopes to get revenge through violence and blood inside the ring on March 24th.
“I think it was quite funny. I expected it. I think he [Whyte] needs to sell the fight so I was expecting a lot of words,” responded Browne when asked about Whyte’s comments.”
But then added:
“You can expect violence. It’s going to be a violent fight. I think it will be a violent fight and there’s going to be a lot of blood.”

The Australian believes Whyte is ’emotionally overcharged’ and he’s looking to use that as an advantage.
“I think he’s very much emotionally overcharged. If he gets emotionally involved it takes over a bit too much. I’m going to be making sure that I get into his head as much as I can to get him emotionally involved,” commented Browne.
When asked about the upcoming blood and violence, ‘The Body Snatcher’ had a surprising answer.
“He’s violence and blood, sometimes a feather is enough to defeat all that. Just tickle him a little bit and he might fall down laughing,” joked Whyte.
Promoter Eddie Hearn has seen his fair share of entertaining and not so entertaining press conferences. He wasn’t surprised about the war of words between Whyte and Browne but he also made sure that both would behave in front of the media.
“Both guys were spoken to by me. We have a conduct to follow by the British Boxing Board of Control. We can’t afford to get this fight cancelled or called off. Yeah, there was some talk of racism and drug cheating – even some STD’s were thrown in there as well. You’re going to get that with Dillian Whyte. He speaks his heart, he speaks his mind but he also knows how important this fight is,” said Hearn to Boxing Social.
