It’s one thing to step into the ring and fight Floyd Mayweather Jr in a professional boxing bout. But it’s another to actually think that you might win against ‘The Best Ever’.
UFC President Dana White talked to ESPN and he believes Conor McGregor has as good a shot as anybody.
‘Floyd Mayweather is 40 years old, he’s always had problems with southpaws. Conor McGregor is 27 and he is a southpaw. Whenever Conor hits people, they fall,” said White.
But obviously, he isn’t making any official predictions just yet. However, McGregor himself believes he will definitely win the fight.
“[McGregor] is absolutely 100 percent positive that he wins this fight, and I stopped doubting Conor McGregor a long time ago. I’m not saying Conor McGregor’s going to win. I’m not saying Floyd Mayweather’s going to win. But the reason Conor McGregor’s as big as he is is he’ll fight anybody, anywhere, anytime. He will go after Floyd Mayweather and he will try to knock him out,” told White.
‘The biggest fight ever’ is scheduled to take place on August 26th at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
