With Floyd Mayweather now back in the United States it’s time for him to get business done.
Conor McGregor has been making a lot of noise about him signing the dotted line and the ball is now in Floyd’s court. From the looks of things ‘Money’ Mayweather is about to sign the deal as soon as he gets to Vegas.
“Once I get back to Las Vegas, to my hub, we’ll find out how everything plays out. I’ll communicate with Al [Haymon] and Leonard Ellerbe. We’ll sit down and see what we can come up with and hopefully the McGregor fight can be made,” said Mayweather on Eminem’s SiriusXM channel Shade 45.
He isn’t rushing but at some point the people will want to hear an announcement especially since the Irishman has already done his part. Floyd is certainly talking the talk but what’s missing is the walk.
“This is a boxing match, he’s a hell of a stand up fighter, I can’t take that away from him. Only time McGregor has been defeated was when he was on the ground. When he was standing up, he always was victorious. He’s a power puncher, he’s a tough competitor, I’m a tough competitor, and we have to go out there and give the world and the fans what they want to see – excitement,” told Mayweather.
They want it, we want it, so lets get on to it.
