Floyd Mayweather’s and Conor McGregor’s verbal jab trading has escalated into throwing training videos at each other.
Mayweather posted a video of him showcasing speed and accuracy on Instagram. He downplayed it in his usual way saying that he’s ‘just an old legend putting in work.’
“I know I’m not the same fighter I was 20 years ago, I’m not the same fighter I was 10 years ago… As a matter of fact, I’m not the same fighter I was 5 years ago, I’m just an old legend putting in work in 16 oz gloves,” he wrote.
The Irishman has now replied with a video of his own where he demonstrates his power shots on a heavy bag.
“Trust me. I’m going to stop Floyd. You’re all going to eat your words. The whole world is going to eat their words. I am boxing,” shouted McGregor.
Mayweather and McGregor will settle the score on August 26th at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
