Given his history, there are many eyes on Jarrell Miller ahead of his next fight with Daniel Dubois.
Dubois represents the biggest test of Miller’s career and one that many people think he is very lucky to have been given. The reason for that is several failed drug tests, first in the run-up to a fight that never happened with Anthony Joshua in June 2019, and then later ahead of a second cancelled fight, this time with Jerry Forrest in July 2020.
Because of this, many people have been concerned about how much he has been tested in the run-up to the Day of Reckoning card in Saudia Arabia this weekend.
Speaking to Boxing News, Miller was able to reveal the answer.
“VADA hit me three times in one week, then it was five different tests in seven or eight days. It’s part of the business.”
He then went into more detail about the process.
“When you’re new to the testing it’s a lot of grey areas, but once I understood how to go about doing things and who to talk to and the chain of command, you just have to have a good lawyer and doctor notes and all this. There is a lot of BS to it, so if you don’t understand it you can cause problems.”
