Rising British boxing prospect Kid Galahad (22-0, 13 KO’s) has been added to the Chris Eubank Jr – Arthur Abraham undercard.
Galahad will go against a tough challenger in Dennis Ceylan (18-0-2, 8 KO’s). The Danish boxer is looking bounce back from a disappointing draw against Isaac Lowe. Meanwhile, Galahad is on a five-fight stoppage streak. In his last fight, he stopped Leonel Hernandez in the third round.
Galahad and Ceylan will fight for the vacant IBF Intercontinental featherweight title.
“It’s simple, this is the biggest fight of my career against an unbeaten boxer who wants the same as me, glory. I’ve got nothing but respect for Ceylan, who has beaten some top notch opponents, but I look at this as a sizeable step towards my ultimate goal, to become the fifth world champion from the Ingle gym,” said Galahad according to worldboxingnews.net
Galahad is also targeting fights against IBF world champion Lee Selby and former world title holder Carl Frampton.
“I’d fight any of the big names after I’ve knocked out Ceylan, anytime, anywhere and at the drop of a hat,” told the Sheffielder.
Chris Eubank Jr versus Arthur Abraham boxing event is set to take place on July 15th at Wembley Arena in London.
