Ryan Garcia Calls Out UFC Champion Ahead Of Devin Haney Fight

Ryan Garcia might be in camp for his huge upcoming fight with Devin Haney but he has also taken time out on social media to make a call out of a UFC champion.

‘King Ry’ has been hugely active online this year, first calling out ‘Rolly’ Romero and then moving his sights to Haney. The pair entered official negotiations for a fight that is now set to take place at the Barclays Centre in New York on April 20.

Garcia has said he isn’t too happy about it, in what will be another big step up for Garcia who is yet to win a world title having come unstuck with a body shot against Gervonta Davis last April.

Haney meanwhile picked up a super-lightweight title in his first fight at the weight against Regis Prograis having already been undisputed champion in the division below.

Ahead of the fight, Garcia has been told by American mixed martial artist and bantamweight world champion Sean O’Malley that he would ‘kill’ him, to which Garcia has responded with a call out on X.

“Alright rainbow head, There is only one way to find out… Dana let’s do this”

He then reiterated the challenge in a second post on X but said he’d need serious money.

“I’d fight Sean O’Malley in the UFC that’s it but Dana you’d have to cut me that real check.”

Garcia already has his hands full with Haney so this one seems a long shot as the pair embark on a press tour to promote their upcoming fight.
