The intriguing clash between WBC and IBF welterweight title-holder Errol Spence Jr. and two-weight champion Danny Garcia on November 21 is the pick of a new raft of shows announced by Premier Boxing Champions and FOX Sports in the US.
That Pay-Per-View clash is joined by the return of other leading PBC names as boxing plots its way back from the chaos wrought by the Covid-19 Pandemic.
On August 22, two-time world welterweight king Shawn Porter meets German Sebastian Formella in a WBC/IBF title eliminator – the implication being that Porter rematches with one of his old rivals (Spence or Garcia) should he emerge victorious.
One week later, on August 29, smooth Cuban Erislandy Lara defends his WBA Regular title at 154lbs against American Greg Vendetti while Alfred Angulo and Caleb Truax collide in an IBF title eliminator at 168lbs.
On September 6, Yordenis Ugas and Abel Ramos meet for the vacant WBA Regular 147lbs crown while Rances Barthelemy contests the WBA interim title at 140lbs against Alberto Puello.
All the shows are currently scheduled to take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles behind closed doors though the situation may change for Spence-Garcia.
