“I don’t take any measure of him, it’s just like any other fighter coming to 147. it is what it is; I take it with (a pinch) of salt.”
“If it comes and we cross paths and they offer me the fight, I’m going to take the fight,” Spence said.
“People are saying he is the second coming of Floyd and he is going to wipe out the whole welterweight division.”
“If he does, so be it. Let’s see if he can do it.” Sizing up the potential match-up between them, Spence says he is the bigger man but acknowledged Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford’s phenomenal skill-set.
“He is a 140 lbs fighter, but he has skills. He wouldn’t be undisputed welterweight champion if he couldn’t fight” “The dude can fight, I take nothing from him,” Spence concluded.
