WBA, IBF & IBO World heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua made unpleasant headlines last week when an American heavyweight boxer Eddie Chambers released a private Instagram conversation that occurred between him and Joshua’s official Instagram account.
The message that caused the most controversy read “You are a disgrace to the superior black race”.

Joshua recently also went after Tyson Fury online and called him a ‘fat f**k’. When asked about the tweet Joshua responded that he simply had to fight fire with fire.
“I try to be professional but remember this is a fighting sport and you have to meet fire with fire now and again. Sometimes if a dog barks at you so many times, the other dog needs to bite back and make sure the other dog puts his tail between his legs. And that’s what you have to do with Tyson Fury sometimes. And that’s all it was, I just had to bite back,” told Joshua to Sport360.
The National media were not quick to grab onto the Joshua story and Fury questioned why.
@champfasteddie funny how none of the National press has not run any story's on @anthonyfjoshua supreme black race messages. 😱😱😱😱 🔐 down

So far Joshua has not released a personal statement or comment on the matter.
His promoter Eddie Hearn has reportedly been in negotiations with Deontay Wilder’s management and Joseph Parker’s people.
Hearn has commented that the biggest fight in world boxing is Joshua-Wilder and both fighters will most likely face one opponent each before going against one another. Hearn is very interested in getting a deal done with Parker and the Kiwi could be first in line to fight Joshua before Wilder.
