Tommy Fury’s back and forth with Jake Paul continues and now Fury has called him out for a rematch and claimed ‘I’d beat him with one hand.’
Fury and Paul first fought back in February of 2023. It was a messy eight-rounder and the first time Paul fought a legitimate boxer. He soon called for a rematch but has gone on to have a number of winning bouts since.
Speaking to The Stomping Ground, Fury was talking about the hand injury which he is currently recovering from having had surgery on it last year, when he said it had been troubling him for some time.
“It’s not great is it. I’d still beat Jake Paul though. I’d do it with one hand.”
The former ITV Love Island star and half bother of lineal world heavyweight champion Fury was then asked if the rematch was realistic.
“I mean yeah. I only mention him when he mentions me. He mentions me all the time. I don’t think he can accept it.
“I beat him fair and square but I don’t think he can accept that. But I would like to do it again with Jake Paul on the canvas this time and not getting up.”
Fury then dismissed Paul’s last fight against Ryan Borland as a nothing match. A rematch between these two would likely do big business again as the first contest was close, although he could also face KSI once more having beat him, but with a feud still going on.
