Tommy Fury was involved in a fight outside of the ropes at the latest Misfits crossover effort in London.
The event, headlined by KSI and Joe Fournier, was staged at London’s OVO Arena, and showcased the usual mix of bizarre and ridiculous entertainment.
During the undercard, a brawl erupted in the crowd with Fury at the centre of it all. Punches were thrown and others got involved.

John Fury, to his credit, seemed to be keen to break it up – perhaps surprising from a man who has made no secret of his willingness to get into a scrap.
Ironically or otherwise, the man Tommy was reportedly squaring off with was Idris Virgo – another Love Island alumni. The brawl was shown on the live broadcast briefly, and, despite the nature of the promotion, didn’t look staged.
According to a Twitter user who was also ringside, Virgo – a 12-0 pro who has swayed into the YouTube scene – initiated things by saying Fury wouldn’t fight him.
Fury was in attendance to set the table for a fight with KSI in the future. He told the broadcast it would be an easy win.
“This man [KSI] is worse than Jake Paul in my opinion. So I believe if I fight KSI in the future, he gets stopped very early. Yeah, he’s a lot more gung ho than Jake Paul, but that means you leave yourself very open.”
His willingness to take the fight and involvement with another of the Misfits’ roster puts to bed any idea that he’s pursuing a traditional boxing career currently.
The 24-year-old said previously that the Jake Paul win was a sideshow before he got onto the real business of winning world titles and ‘making history’ in the sport. On the contrary, Fury seems set to stick around the sideshow for a while longer.
