But moments later promoter Eddie Hearn countered that nothing has been actually signed yet officially.
“It’s taken a long time to get this rematch even discussed and now there is a real possibility it could be next. Nothing is signed yet but I’m catching up with Tony later this week. You can cross your fingers for an announcement in the next week or so,” revealed Hearn.
But this morning Tony Bellew posted his response to Haye’s announcement on Twitter and confirmed that he will accept the rematch.
According to The Mail, the rematch will happen on December 17th at The O2 Arena.
Here’s Tony Bellew’s response to Haye.
