Tony Bellew has revealed that he is very close to announcing his next fight.
So far all we know that Bellew has a lot of options in front of him. The latest idea was a fight against arguably the pound for pound number one fighter in boxing, Andre ‘S.O.G’ Ward. But Bellew now knows that it most likely won’t happen.
“We got a fair bit closer with Andre Ward and I thought that was going to get announced imminently, to be honest. Eddie came back to me with something else, and said ‘this is what’s going on and this is what’s happening.’ I trust Eddie and I believe in what he does by me. He has led me this far. I trust him and he’ll make the right decision for me,” told Bellew to Sky Sports.
The most popular fight would probably be a rematch against David Haye. Bellew has also mentioned WBO Heavyweight champion Joseph Parker a lot and also sent a tweet towards his way recently.

Parker is defending his WBO title against Hughie Fury next. It was recently also announced that Haye will possibly face Fury after that should he win the title against Parker.
