Bob Arum’s Top Rank has reached a deal to broadcast eight to ten shows a year on DAZN, according to Ring Magazine’s Keith Idec.
Top Rank, whose stable includes Teofimo Lopez, Keyshawn Davis, and Emanuel Navarrete, has been without a broadcaster since its deal with ESPN expired in 2025. A deal with streaming service DAZN has been in the rumor mill since then.
DAZN entered the boxing market with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing in 2018. The two companies reached a mouthwatering agreement worth $1 billion over an eight-year period. Matchroom and DAZN renewed their broadcast deal last month to run for another five years.
Hearn and DAZN received a lot of scrutiny from many promoters at the time, including Arum, who called it a “dead zone.” However, Top Rank and DAZN have decided to collaborate, with each event set to receive a license fee of “$1 to $1.25 million.”
Since Matchroom started airing its events on DAZN, many of the premier promoters have joined the streaming service. Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions joined in April 2025, and Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy started working with DAZN in 2018.
DAZN has been advertising itself as “the home of boxing,” with countless promoters worldwide airing their events on the platform.
Arum and Top Rank have promoted boxing’s biggest stars including: Tyson Fury, Manny Pacquiao and Vasiliy Lomachenko during it’s long history.
Arum first entered the boxing world with Muhammad Ali, hosting historic events such as The Rumble in the Jungle and the Thrilla in Manilla.
