Former unified world heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury (25-0) recently caught up with iFL TV in Monaco, following Dereck Chisora’s majority decision loss at the hands of Agit Kabayel to discuss a number of topics including the accusations following the aftermath of testing positive for benzoylecgonine, a key component in cocaine after dethroning Wladimir Klitschko in late 2015.
Touching on his UK anti-doping hearing, Fury was dismissive suggesting that the whole saga is “a stupid court case” and furthermore, Fury took the opportunity to once again continue his pleas of innocence, stating “I’m totally innocent and I have done nothing wrong”.

Fury went on to suggest that the resulting chaos and fallout following the UK anti-doping hearing, has stemmed from him not being a likeable person in the public eye and that has “upset people with a lot of power”. Fury seemed to take a philosophical approach to the situation and stated ” no matter who you are, what you are, you are never bigger than the powers that be and someone can always stop you in your tracks”.
Fury went on to suggest those ‘pulling the strings behind the scenes” are to blame for a lengthy hiatus from the ring which will close in on the two-year mark at the end of the month. Fury said frankly ‘I’ve been out nearly two years through no fault of my own and I’ve done f***all wrong.”
“If I have done something wrong, I’d hold my hands up … If I’ve done something, I’ll hold my hands up; I’ve been Tyson Montana, I’ve been the alcoholic, I’ve been the joke, I’ve been everything but the one thing I haven’t been, is a drug cheat,” Fury said.
“I’ve finally had enough, I can’t be avoided and put back to the curb anymore” Fury said before putting the heavyweight division on notice with a stark warning “I’m willing and ready to fight and I’m ready to fight all the best heavyweights out there. I’m still lineal (champion), they might have all my belts but the one thing they haven’t got is my lineal status and if these champions don’t want to fight me, their legacies will never be cemented because I am the gipsy king and the king of the heavyweight division,” Fury concluded.
