Tyson Fury has teased rapper Drake over his losing bet on Jake Paul to defeat Tommy Fury.
The Canadian mega star posted a slip on social media that showed he had laid down around $400,000 on Paul to beat the Brit in their hotly anticipated clash in Saudi Arabia last night.
However, Fury outboxed the brash YouTuber for large potions of the contest and survived a late knockdown to edge out a split decision victory at the Diriyah Arena.
And big brother Tyson was clearly in the mood for poking some fun when interviewed post fight by BT Sport.
“It looks like Drake has lost his money! 335 bags down the toilet!”
The victory was out question the biggest of Fury’s career, especially given the huge pressure on his shoulders going into the fight.
Drake wasn’t the only one who lost money on the outcome, though, with Tyson admitting he had backed his younger sibling to stop Paul.
“Let me tell you a secret – I lost mine too because I bet on the knockout. So we’re both losers.
Despite Paul giving a good account of himself in the eyes of many, Fury proved to be too much for him, with his jab in particular causing the American problems throughout the night.
After a long and heated build up that has spanned well over a year, the two young stars showed respect after the contest and embraced, putting to bed all the bad blood that had manifested.
Referee Hector Afu came under fire from for his officiating of the fight, specifically the two seemingly soft point deductions he imposed upon both fighters.
Paul stated in multiple post fight interviews that he intends to activate the rematch clause and take on Fury again – a move ‘TNT’ claims he would welcome.
