Big heavyweight title fights are coming as Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker will share the ring on March 31 and Deontay Wilder defends his WBC strap against Luis Ortiz in the same month as well.
All three current world champions know what is at stake – superiority in the heavyweight division. Joshua, Parker, and Wilder are well aware the boxing audience will study both fights with precision and the debate will grow even larger depending on how each fighter performs.

One fighter missing from this conversation is Tyson Fury.
The former world heavyweight champion is currently training in Spain and getting ready for his comeback which will happen in April or May according to Fury himself.
What does Fury think of the current world titleholders in his division? Speaking exclusively to Boxing Social, ‘The Gypsy King’ went into detail and shared his take on all three.
It might not be a surprise to many that Fury ranked the American heavyweight champion Wilder as the best in the division.
“I reckon he’s [Wilder] the best in the division by a mile. I have studied him from the beginning of his career. I watch boxing closely especially heavyweights, I think he’s mustard. He’s very awkward, tall, rangy, can punch and he’s improving in every single fight,” said Fury.

Fury then spoke about his British rival, Anthony Joshua.
“He’s done well. I have watched his career from amateur to professional. Big strong fella. Done everything he’s been asked of. So far so good. He’s world champion, Olympic champion, good looking lad, says everything that he’s told. And that’s it really,” told Fury.
When talking about the Kiwi, Fury shared a funny drinking story about him and Parker that happened after the WBO champion retained his title against Hughie Fury in Manchester last September.
“Lovely fella. One of the nicest lads I’ve ever met in boxing. I’ve even had the pleasure of going on a mad piss up with him. We were on a two day bender in Manchester and it did get messy. I can confirm it was very, very messy,” laughed Fury.
So what actually happened?
“We ended up in a bar that was 20 degrees below. It was an ice bar and we had these warm jackets on. I walked in and me being me and I went ‘come on, off with the shirts’, shirts off, drinking his beer, 20-30 below freezing. We just had a great time,” he explained.
Here’s Fury sharing the story in his own words.
