Now that Wladimir Klitschko is retired and officially out of the picture, Anthony Joshua has a couple of challenges ahead of him.
The defending heavyweight king is already being linked to fighting against IBF mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev later this year. There are also rumours about a possible heavyweight clash against WBC champion, Deontay Wilder.
But another heavyweight has been actively mentioning Joshua – UFC champion, Stipe Miocic.
. @anthonyfjoshua looks like your schedule is wide open. No excuses, let's dance! #BaddestManOnThePlanet

“Looks like your schedule is wide open,” tweeted Miocic.
This certainly isn’t the first time the American has called out Joshua. Earlier this summer, Miocic tweeted to Joshua in hopes of a match on the undercard of Mayweather-McGregor. That obviously did not come to fruition and at this point, it’s highly unlikely Joshua will fight against Miocic anytime soon.
