Frank Warren has weighed in with some advice for Anthony Joshua with regards to finalising a deal to face his charge Tyson Fury in December – telling AJ he simply needs to demand his team to make the fight.
Warren, speaking to Talksport, implored AJ to take a leaf out of Fury’s book and give orders to get what would be the biggest fight in British boxing history over the line.
“We can’t go on forever, Tyson is fighting on December 3rd whatever happens. But this is the fight we want. This is the fight we’ve worked hard to get over the line.”
“For the life of me, I do not know what’s holding this up. At the end of the day, Anthony Joshua is the boss – instruct your team, like Tyson instructed me. He’s the one who’s getting in the ring, instruct your team or tell us what the problem is.”
😡 “I don’t know how we can go past today, to be quite honest.”
🤦♂️ “I don’t know what’s holding this up!”
🙏 “Joshua is the boss! Instruct your team like Fury instructed me!”

The status of negotiations for the fight remains well and truly up in the air, with Fury issuing yet another deadline of the close of play today for Joshua to sign for a showdown in Cardiff less than 48 hours after Warren said in an interview that his client had decided to move on.
Many observers believe Fury will fight fringe heavyweight Manuel Charr, who has been involved with a social media back and forth with ‘The Gypsy King’ over the past month. Charr has came under fire as potential opponent for the WBC world champion, with some pundits not even ranking the German in the top 50 heavyweights in the world.
A trilogy fight with Dereck Chisora is also believed to be on the cards, with Eddie Hearn revealing that Fury offered ‘Del Boy’ the fight as recently as yesterday.
