Mauricio Suleman has spoken out after Jake Paul’s win over Anderson Silva this past weekend, claiming anyone who continues to discredit Paul’s credentials as a boxer is a “hater.”
The WBC president took to his personal Twitter account to congratulate Paul on the victory, as well as to direct some choice words towards those who still refuse to give ‘The Problem Child’ his dues as a legitimate fighter.
After last night whoever says @jakepaul is not a legit fighter is simply bitter and a hater. Congratulations on a sensational & entertaining win and great show of sportsmanship #fairplay

Paul scored a knockdown of UFC legend Silva on his way to a unanimous decision victory, successfully coming through what was widely heralded as the hardest test of his professional boxing career to date.
‘The Spider’ was the first opponent with prior professional experience in a boxing ring who Paul has faced thus far, even holding a win over former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, who Silva defeated in 2021.
Attention now turns to the inevitable question of who Paul’s next dance partner will be, with the names of usual suspects KSI and Tommy Fury arising once again from fans on social media.
However, many speculate that it will be yet another fighter from the world of MMA who gets the call. Nate Diaz was sat ringside in Glendale on Saturday night, and is now no longer under contract with the UFC and is subsequently free to enter negotiations for a fight with Paul.
Diaz actually got embroiled in a scuffle with a member of Paul’s entourage backstage at the Desert Diamond Arena, adding fuel to the fire that he will feature in the next chapter of the Jake Paul story.
