Anthony Joshua versus Otto Wallin and Deontay Wilder versus Joseph Parker top a stacked bill in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this weekend, and the final box has been ticked.
Although weigh-ins matter little for heavyweights in term of a fight’s legitimacy, fans are always keen to see the shape and tone of big men before they step through the ropes searching for a knockout.
All four stars of the show looked in excellent shape considering how quickly this eight-fight card has been put together. The official weights are:
- Deontay Wilder – 213lbs
- Joseph Parker – 245.3lbs
- Anthony Joshua – 251lbs
- Otto Wallin – 238.6lbs
Fans are eager to see Wilder back in the ring following just one round in two years. Prior to that was two bruising stoppage defeats at the hands of a spiteful Tyson Fury. The American has admitted to considering retirement following those losses.
Contrary to Wilder’s inactivity is Parker, who has fought three times this year to build up a steady run after being knocked out by Joe Joyce in 2022.

Following two wins already this year – points over Jermaine Franklin and a Robert Helenius KO – Joshua steps up and ahead on his comeback trail.
The Swedish southpaw in the opposite corner has had an air of confidence throughout fight week, and believes he can derail any plans ‘AJ’ has to become a three-time world champion.

Should both favourites come through unscathed, a fight is expected to be announced in double quick time after numerous failed attempts in the past.
Despite that news hanging over the show, Wilder and Joshua have been clear in their pre-fight messaging – they are not looking past Parker or Wallin.
