Oleksandr Usyk vs Rico Verhoeven Undercard is Set

Considerable talent has been added to Oleksandr Usyk’s crossover spectacle alongside the kickboxing icon Rico Verhoeven, tentatively scheduled to take place on May 23 at the Pyramids of Giza, though the Ukraine world boxing champion intimated recently that there are talks of a Plan B to perhaps move the event from Egypt.

Among the fights to air on DAZN for this event are super middleweight force Hamzah Sheeraz who fights Alem Begic, the heavyweight battle between Frank Sanchez and Richard Torrez which was supposed to take place on March 28 on the Sebastian Fundora vs Keith Thurman undercard, and welterweights Jack Catterall vs Shakhram Giyasov.

Rising women’s fighter Mizuki Hiruta, who has built a following in Southern California for her prowess in the ring together with her iconic Japanese outfits, fights Mai Soliman, too.
