Slowly but surely promoter Eddie Hearn is testing out the waters in the US boxing market. According to reports, Hearn has already approached fighters like Mikey Garcia and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in hopes of landing some notable names for Matchroom Boxing USA.
Apparently, Adrien Broner has also been contacted by the promoter but ‘AB’ was definitely not pleased with what Hearn was offering.
Known as the ‘The Problem’, he certainly had one with the three-fight deal that would guarantee Broner a sum of $6.75 million. The former world champion released Hearn’s offer online and wrote a strong response.

“I’m sorry Eddie Hearn you a good guy and all but you tried to give me a worst deal than rocnation offered #SlaveDeal,” wrote the boxer on Instagram with additional five middle finger emojis suggesting Broner’s apparent displeasure.
Broner, 28, hasn’t won a fight conclusively in two years as he notched a majority draw against Jessie Vargas in April, lost to Garcia decisively last July, and scored a split decision victory over Adrian Granados in February 2017.
