Dillon Danis will make his professional boxing debut against Logan Paul next month, propping up the highly anticipated crossover clash between KSI and Tommy Fury.
The bouts make up part of a Misfits card that will be broadcast on DAZN – a hotly debated topic between ‘hardcore’ fans of the sport. Many have zero interest in the events, even describing the match-ups as dangerous due to the potential for differences in skill between opponents.
And Danis, in a newly released sparring clip, has not managed to change that thinking.
The two-fight UFC man – who has stained the build-up with vile trolling of his opponent’s partner, leading to legal action – can be seen in the ring with his hands low, managing six shots against a reluctant sparring partner.

Sparring footage, especially as short as this, never tells the entire story of a camp, or what the fighter might be working on.
Having said that, it didn’t stop fight fans ripping into Danis, who has been accused of preparing to pull out of the fight after a history of doing so.
One X user called the crossover fighter ‘trash,’ whilst others said that there was zero skill on show, criticising his speed and movement in particular.
Some pointed out that all you needed to land on a Misfits show was a social media following, whilst many just branded him ‘awful and slow.’ All in all, there were virtually no comments praising the Danis-released clip.
His opponent, Paul, is more used to WWE than boxing, but will present a bigger and more athletic frame come fight night. He has in-ring experience with KSI twice and in an exhibition with Floyd Mayweather.
