Devin Haney and George Kambosos have weighed in ahead of their lightweight title fight this weekend in Australia.
The undisputed champion took the scales at 134.8lb, making the 135 limit comfortably but looking quite drawn out and drained. Perhaps a signal that the move up in division might come sooner rather than later

Kambosos, the challenger this time around, didnât make the same mistake as last time and came in comfortably under at 134lb.

As the pair faced off, they exchanged heated words and tensions from both teams started to rise noticeably. There was a bit of a battle for who would post front and centre for the camera, and the flexing turned to a bit of shoving before the fathers stepped in to have a shouting match. Whilst the fighters made their way off the stage, both teams continued the melee.

In the end everything calmed down, but make no mistake that things were close to heading south quickly. Itâs added some spice to a fight that many fans and pundits have written off as a forgone conclusion.
Kambososâ final words were confident following a relatively reserved and respectful build up â necessary when considering the one-sidedness of the first fight.
âIâm ripped and ready. Weâll see tomorrow what he does and what I bring. The world will see.â
Haney was as short and sweet as his opponent. Asked if he was prepared for Kambosos to bring a different style to the ring, he said âof courseâ and ducked out of the venue double quick.
It was a tense affair that showed both men to be on the edge and ready to fight. UK fans can tune into the action from 1AM on Sunday via Sky Sports, and home viewers in the States will be able to watch via ESPN.
