Not many people have come out of the recent Chris Eubank Jr – Conor Benn postponement smelling of roses. One man who has, however, is Eubank Jr.
He entertained us with junk food videos and created a new catchphrase in ‘60% baby’, all whilst building hype for what could have been a memorable night.
Unfortunately, the family feud is memorable for a different reason now – namely Conor Benn being found to have traces of a banned substance in his system. With the fight postponed until more information is provided, fans are understandably gutted for what could have been. It’s perhaps best summed up in this tattoo.
Although it’s likely that the Twitter user is trolling, Eubank Jr still seemed sincere as he offered to pay for the removal. He said:
“Don’t worry mate I’ll pay for your tattoo removal, just shoot over your info to my team and I’ll sort everything out for you. Email is in my bio.”

Classy stuff from the fighter who has gained a number of new fans recently despite not actually entering the ring. What he’ll do next will largely depend on how the Benn situation progresses. It’s still a huge fight – there’s no doubt about that – but should Benn be unable to clear his name or provide satisfactory reasoning behind the doping drama, a ban may be awaiting him.
If that’s the case, it’s expected that Eubank will pursue his goal of world titles and big fights at middleweight. Talk of a domestic dust up with Liam Smith have resurfaced and hold some potential.
