Heavyweight hopeful Daniel Dubois will be returning to action against Kyotaro Fujimoto on the 21st of December at the Copper-Box Arena in Hackney, London.
The British heavyweight champion has had a successful year – producing consistently powerful displays against Razvan Cojanu, Richard Lartey, Nathan Gorman, and Ebenezer Tetteh – and will surely be looking to end the year on a high note with another emphatic stoppage victory over his unheralded Japanese counterpart.
Hailed by promoter Frank Warren as one of British boxing’s most prodigious talents, Dubois has wowed audiences with the destructive nature of his knockout triumphs and will be surely targeting a world title opportunity within a couple of years, at the very latest.
Fujimoto, meanwhile, will come into the bout with hopes of somehow defying the odds, but expect those hopes to be swiftly and ruthlessly dashed by Dubois’ heavy hands within the first couple of rounds.
Sunny Edwards, meanwhile, will also be looking to captivate the crowd with his talent, in addition to extending his undefeated record, as he faces Marcel Braithwaite for the vacant British super-flyweight title.
Light-heavyweight prospect Tommy Fury also makes his highly-anticipated comeback – after featuring on reality-television show Love-Island – while middleweight contender Liam Williams will also be looking to stay busy before targeting some big fights in the following year.
