During his much-talked about clash against Tony Bellew earlier this year, David Haye suffered a serious Achilles injury which severely damaged his movement in the ring. The Liverpudlian capitalised and put Haye away in the eleventh round.

Ever since then ‘The Haymaker’ has been going through a grueling recovering process and it seems he’s finally close to a hundred percent, at least according to his latest status update.
The legs are working like never before, eating, sleeping & training consistently since my Achilles op (March 5) has been key to my recovery. pic.twitter.com/G8t60UT0FF

Haye has said that he will return to the ring this December. Though, he still hasn’t got an official opponent but, there certainly are viable candidates lining up.
The biggest one being Tony Bellew of course.
Promoter Eddie Hearn revealed in a recent interview that he is still trying to make the fight happen between Haye and Bellew. The problem is, both sides don’t like each other and negotiations have been challenging to say the least.
But there is also the interesting option of fighting Hughie Fury.
About a month ago Peter Fury informed that he met with Haye’s people and discussed a possible fight. Multiple reports told that if Hughie manages to beat Joseph Parker for the WBO World heavyweight title, Haye is next in line but this has not been officially confirmed yet.
