Heavyweight contender DIllian Whyte (23-10-0, 17 KO’s) has outlined his dream scenario for the next 12 months in boxing.
Whyte, who is currently in negotiations for a potential IBF final eliminator with Kubrat Pulev, has grown increasingly frustrated with being unable to lure the division’s elite into fighting him.
Speaking exclusively to Boxing Social, ‘The Bodysnatcher’ once again reiterated his desire to face the best heavyweights in the world.
“Deontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury.” said Whyte, when asked of his ideal next three opponents.
“They’re seemingly the top guys.”
“Or maybe, Povetkin, Wilder and Tyson Fury?”
“Those are massive fights. There’s two Olympics medallists. One former World champion and one current World champion in there.”
Since losing his unbeaten record in a December 2015 slugfest with current WBA/WBO/IBF World heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, Whyte has gone on a seven-fight winning streak.
Boasting victories over the likes of Dereck Chisora, Robert Helenius and, in his most recent bout, a brutal knockout win over former WBA ‘Regular’ titleholder Lucas Browne, Whyte firmly believes that he is on the cusp of World title glory: provided the requisite names afford him a title shot.
“I just want to fight the best guys, man.” he continued.
“Everyone is scared of a loss. I just want to fight.”
The Brixton man has become something of a cult figure with boxing fans, who have taken to his straight-talking and apparent willingness to fight any man put in-front of him.

Despite suffering an early defeat to Joshua, Whyte has shown marked improvements in his game under trainer Mark Tibbs, and places little importance on the blemish on his record.
“People say to me “oh, you did this… you lost…” – so what? I went in there, I gave it my all and I fought. I went in there and a I fought.”
“People can sit at home and talk rubbish, but it doesn’t matter to me. Ain’t paying my bills, what they’ve got to say.” Whyte finished.
With the purse bid situation with Pulev showing signs of reaching a conclusion, an announcement is expected on Whyte’s next opponent in the coming days.
