Daniel Dubois’ Trainer Reveals Why He Wouldn’t Shake Jarrell Miller’s Hand After The Fight

They say that all is fair in love and war but Daniel Dubois’ trainer Don Charles was in no mood to make up with Jarrell Miller and his team following a victory on the Day of Reckoning card.

It was a huge night for young Brit Dubois who saw off plenty of his own mental demons and silenced any critics who have said he has no real heart for the fight after being accused of quitting in previous bouts.

‘DDD’ withstood plenty of early pressure from Miller, who weighed in 100lbs heavier than him at 333lbs, and eventually imposed himself in the fight.

With just seconds to go at the end of the 10th and final round, Dubois overwhelmed Miller to the point that the referee had no choice but to stop ‘Big Baby’ on his feet.

It had been a contentious build-up with Miller engaging in plenty of his usual antics and bad-mouthing Dubois and his team at every opportunity.

Speaking to Pro Boxing Fans, Dubois’s coach Don Charles was asked why he didn’t shake hands with Miller’s trainer following the final bell.

“Yeah because all week they’ve been taunting Daniel and myself to a certain degree. Don’t say all the horrible, nasty, vile things you been saying then you want to come and shake my hand, no.”

“I’m an old guy, I’m 62 years old, don’t insult me then come and shake my hand afterward, no.”

Dubois now has many options once more having got himself back into the frame for high-level fights, while Miller could be very much out in the cold and left fighting to resurrect his career after this crushing defeat.
