Frank Warren Hits Back At Carl Froch Over Anthony Joshua Comments: “I Take No Notice”

Frank Warren has taken some flack from Carl Froch over his comments on Anthony Joshua recently but now the veteran promoter has hit back and said ‘I take no notice.’

Froch is often involved in heated verbal back and forths with many different figures in the boxing world and earlier in the year he was even called out for a fight at Wembley by Tyson Fury’s father John.

Now he has said that he thinks Joshua has a weak mentality which might be his undoing in his fight with former MMA champion Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia on Friday night.

Speaking to Seconds Out, Warren has responded to the former super-middleweight champion and dismissed his views.

“Let’s get it right about Carl Froch, he was saying before the guy fought Tyson that it was a total disgrace, a mismatch, slagged the fight off.

“Now he is saying Ngannou doesn’t look bad. He goes whichever way the wind blows. As I always say, this is the guy who thinks the world is flat.”

Warren then gave his prediction for the fight and said either man could knock the other out.

“What I know is what I’ve seen, I’ve got two eyes, I know what I’m watching, and I genuinely believe if this guy can put some shots together, if he puts AJ on the back foot he can give him a lot of problems.

“But if Joshua catches him right he can go. I don’t think it’s going to go the distance. I don’t feel it will be one of those types of fights.”

There are just hours to go now until the world finds out, though some people are still making shock predictions that claim Ngannou is going to be a big winner on the night.
