Carl Froch has already had a legendary career to be proud of, and he has announced a surprise next move that will see him head to the USA.
Froch retired from boxing back in 2014 following his Wembley Stadium epic with George Groves, bringing to an end a 12-year career that saw him win world titles on multiple occasions and also defeat the likes of Mikkel Kessler, Lucian Bute and Jermaine Taylor.
He has since gone on to have an impressive broadcasting career, regularly appearing on Sky Sports, DAZN and Talksport, whilst also running his successful YouTube channel ‘Froch On Fighting.’
‘The Cobra’ has now revealed his next move, telling Talksport that he will be involved in helping to prepare actors for an upcoming fight.
“I’m actually going to train an actor called Toby Kebbell, you might have seen him in RocknRolla, and Shia LaBeouf, he was in Transformers.
“I’m going to be training them in a film called Salvable. I’m going to New York for a week to train these guys. I’m really excited about it. Froch on Fighting is coming to Hollywood!”
On the topic of training, Froch was also asked if he would ever consider becoming a trainer for up and coming professionals.
“Training someone would be interesting but it’s so time consuming. I’ve got three young kids, I wouldn’t want to spend that amount of time away from home from them.”
Froch has also recently been involved in a public spat with Tyson Fury’s father John, stemming from the fallout of the Gypsy King’s postponement of the Oleksandr Usyk undisputed title fight.
